R. Kelly is in a sticky situation once again. Amidst claims that he was leading a sex cult he recently employed a crisis team to help clean up public opinion of him.
R. Kelly has seen a drastic decrease in ticket sales for his upcoming shows after reports broke that he was allegedly holding women as part of sex cult. He denies the rumors and is paying a high priced lawyer to help save his image.
After the families of the women involved in this story no one wanted to go see Kelly in concert. According to the reports he was holding six women in his home and was in control of every aspect of their lives. He told them went to eat, what they were allowed to wear, and how he wanted to have sex with them.
The promotion company that was promoting Kelly is concert become very worried. They were doing to lose $400,000 if his concert tickets did not sell and backed out of the deal with him. There are some concerts that already had to be canceled. Shows in Dallas, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge were canceled due to the lack of ticket sales.
Monterey International which is the booking agency that Kelly uses are looking to drop the singer from their client list at any time now.
Kelly is maintaining his innocence. He said that the reports are a bunch of “crap” and he is still going to put on his shows. His publicist stated that Kelly is deeply disturbed by the reports against him. He denies the reports and is looking to work to quickly clear his name.
This is not the first time Kelly had been in trouble for his sexual interests. After this latest report he may want to keep his pants on at least for the time being.
