Pink Drops Empowering New Single And Announces New Album

Singer and three-time Grammy winner Pink, 37, is back in action. She just released a new single called What About Us and announced that her seventh upcoming album, Beautiful Trauma, will be out in mid-October.

The single is described as being empowering and was co-written by Pink, Johnny McDavid from Snow Patrol and Steve Mac who also serves as the producer of the powerfully written and performed single.

Pink announced via Instagram that she is super excited about her new single and forthcoming album. In addition, the singer shared a picture of the album cover. She posted that it has been a long time since her last album and that she is very happy to share the new work with them.

The lyrics to the melodic single are powerful: “What about us? What about all the times you said you had the answers?” “What about us? What about all the broken happy ever afters?”

The pop anthem’s lyrics get deeper in meaning as the song goes on and speaks to current issues in the world. In the song, the singer sings “We are problems that want to be solved. We are children that need to be loved. We are willing. We came when you called. But then you fooled us. Enough is enough.” Beautiful Trauma is the singer-songwriter’s first album since the album The Truth About Love, which was released in 2012. The hits from the 2012 album include the mega-hit Try and the hit singles Blow Me (One Last Kiss) and Just Give Me a Reason.

Fans can pre-order the highly anticipated new album and can look forward to the October 13 release of the studio album, which is sure to be a hit like all of Pink’s previous works. According to her many fans around the world that have streamed the single, What About Us, is destined to be another hit single for the singer.
